Please see your academic advisor to approve the course selections, and the Office of the University Registrar to certify section C of the Transient Student Form. It is recommended that you contact the school you plan to attend to find out their registration requirements and deadlines.

Upon completing the course, university regulations require that an official transcript be sent to us so that the course can be applied to your official University of Florida transcript. Please visit the Registrar’s Office where you are attending and submit a request to send your transcript to UF.

The form with instructions is available at http://www.reg.ufl.edu/pdf/nondegree-reg.pdf . The non-degree form requires the dean’s, or their designee’s, signature from the college offering the course.

In addition, students must supply immunization records to the Student Health Care Center (http://www.health.ufl.edu/shcc/ ).

We encourage students to complete and submit the paperwork the week before the semester starts to the Office of the University Registrar in 222 Criser Hall. However, all paperwork can be completed during the non-degree registration (drop/add) period during normal business hours. The online Schedule of Courses (http://www.reg.ufl.edu/soc/index.html ) provides an up-to-date listing of courses offered for the term. There is no minimum number of classes or credit hours required for non-degree seeking students.
