Can I take classes at another college/university for a semester?
Yes, students may attend other schools as a transient student. Transient Student forms are available in the Registrar’s Office, 222 Criser Hall, or online at http://www.reg.ufl.edu/pdf/transient-student-instructions.html . Complete instructions are available on the form.
Please see your academic advisor to approve the course selections, and the Office of the University Registrar to certify section C of the Transient Student Form. It is recommended that you contact the school you plan to attend to find out their registration requirements and deadlines.
Upon completing the course, university regulations require that an official transcript be sent to us so that the course can be applied to your official University of Florida transcript. Please visit the Registrar’s Office where you are attending and submit a request to send your transcript to UF.
