It says there is no UFID with my social security number and date of birth.

Your student directory file may be missing your date of birth. We apologize for the inconvenience, but in order to release your UFID, or allow you to look it up, we will need the following information faxed to the Office of the University Registrar at 352-846-1126:

NEED UFID:

The name under which you applied
Your date of birth
Your email address
Your address
A copy of your driver’s license/passport showing your signature and date of birth
Your handwritten signature

When we identify your student record and UFID, we will email the ID to you. With your UFID, you can create your GatorLink account at http://www.gatorlink.ufl.edu/

Once you have your GatorLink account with a GatorLink user name and password, you will be able to check your student records on ISIS.

Why doesn’t my UFID work when I’m looking up my records on ISIS?

With the change from social security numbers to UFIDs, the PIN system for security access to your confidential records was converted to GatorLink authentication. Students will use their GatorLink ID user name and GatorLink password to access secure records on ISIS.

If you have forgotten your GatorLink user name and password, please contact the CIRCA help desk. They are located at E520 CSE. You may call them at 352-392-HELP (4357) or email them at helpdesk@ufl.edu.

I’m an applicant to the University of Florida. How do I find my UFID?

The UFID is a unique eight (8) digit number that will link all of your records at the University of Florida. To find you UFID, please visit http://www.it.ufl.edu/ufid/wmufid.html . You will need your social security number or temporary student ID and your date of birth to look up your UFID.

If you do not have either a social security number or temporary student ID, please call the Office of Admissions for assistance at (352) 392-1365.
