Am I allowed to select or upgrade to a more expensive residence hall if I am willing to pay the difference not covered by the Florida Prepaid College Program?

The answer to this can be located in the housing document “Residence Hall Living Part One: Residence Hall Agreement”.
Briefly, prepaid students must identify themselves as such on the UF housing application. Those with a housing option may indicate an assignment preference to any residence hall on the housing application. Assignments to halls other than those paid in full by the FL. Prepaid College Program may result in additional rent charges to students.
Air conditioned, double rooms in the following residence halls are paid in full by the FL Prepaid College Program:
- Graham
- Simpson
- Trusler
- Reid
- Mallory
- Rawlings
- Broward
- Jennings
- East (Honors Program)
- Riker (Honors Program)
- Weaver (Honors Program)
