What are undergraduate Financial Aid “Satisfactory Academic Progress” guidelines?
University of Florida students receiving financial aid are required to be in good standing and maintain “satisfactory academic progress.” To continue to receive financial aid at UF, in general undergraduates must fulfill four criteria:
1. Achieve cumulative 2.0 GPA by the end of 60 carried academic credit hours;
2. Earn a baccalaureate degree after carrying 150 credit hours;
3. Earn 75 percent of carried hours as freshmen, 78 percent as sophomores, 82 percent as juniors, and 87 percent as seniors;
4. Students usually receive ten full-time terms of financial aid. However, terms of aid will be prorated for students who transfer to the University from another institution.
