I was wondering if there were any minority grants that the University of Florida has to offer, and more specifically, if there are any Native American grants available? If there are grants of these types available, how do I go about applying for them?
The University of Florida does not award any grants or scholarships based on minority status.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs does administer a grant program to qualified Native American students. For further information, contact the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Washington, D.C. at (202) 208-3710. The state of Florida also offers minority scholarships. For more information, go to the Florida Office of Student Financial Assistance. Many private organizations also offer other sources of aid for minority student assistance.
The Office for Student Financial Affairs (SFA) in S-107 Criser Hall, is UF’s financial aid office.
